Summer “shirties” with short sleeves are made from soft and stretchy cotton fabric, and are spiced up with folded sleeves. Comfortable and high quality.

Soft and comfortable, made from stretchy cotton fabric, and very easy for even little hands to put.

Bib Sets

Cotton bibs with snap buttons, these bibs are one-size and fits from 0-3 years. Colors may vary.

Made out of soft and warm fleece fabric and fit to cover almost the whole body (all the way to the chin), our snugglies will make sure to keep your little one nice and warm throughout the cold winter months.

Square Beanie with Tassles

These Scandinavian inspired “square beanies” with tassles are both unique in their style and functionality. They are designed to cover the baby’s ears without getting into his or her eyes, and the ties help prevent the beanie form sliding off.

Sets

Use them as lounge wear, as pajamas, or simply as a comfortable set of “play-clothes” for the pre-school mornings. Our shirties and leggies are stretchy and very comfortable to wear. And the fact that they are made of natural cotton fabrics make them very breathable and soft on the skin.

Our Story

During lockdown 2020, an old sewing machine was pulled out of the closet and became the creative outlet for a mom who was spending her days at home caring for her three children. Burp cloths turned into bibs that again turned into baby clothes in many variants and colours. And so the adventure began.

This new passion for designing and sewing, boosted by a growing crowd that were interested in buying the clothes, was combined with another – deeper – passion to make a difference. And together this resulted in the birth of Themba Tots in October 2021. Themba Tots was born to be a social enterprise with the goal to help support the important upliftment work that Hope Africa Collective is doing in the townships outside of Cape Town. And every item is made with a passion to bless and to bring hope.

We strive to make creative, comfortable, quality baby and toddler clothes that will last you and your little one a long time. We use natural fabrics and soft colours, and each item is hand made with care to detail.

All the people who are involved with Themba Tots volunteer their time, which enables us to donate an amazing 100% of our profits to our cause!
